Our business is to help organisations recruit key people for permanent or temporary positions in wealth management and the financial services industry.

Our core business is executive search and selection, complemented with a range of services to assist in the recruitment process: advertised selection, contingent recruitment, recruitment advertising, ad hoc consultancy, research projects, pre-search studies and psychometric assessment.

Executive Search and Selection

As a client, you can be assured of receiving a bespoke, personal service that will be tailored precisely to your specific needs. We recruit for both permanent and interim positions, and recognise the global nature of many of our clients’ operations. Accordingly, we source candidates through our extensive international networks and regularly fulfil assignments in overseas financial centres, as well as within the UK.

We follow a rigorous selection process to ensure that we only ever short-list the strongest candidates, having interviewed them in person. We provide our clients with full reports on the best candidates, including a subjective assessment of their compatibility with the role and the organisation, and at all stages we debrief both client and candidates to maintain their enthusiasm and to promptly sign off unsuitable candidates without delay.

When a client makes a final selection, we help to prepare an offer, obtain references and close the deal. Once hired, we will stay in touch with both client and candidate and be ready to step in to assist should either party have any difficulties in the early stages of employment.

Recruitment Advertising

We can advise on the design and placement of a single recruitment advertisement or a full recruitment advertising campaign with or without creative content. Our media buyer purchases significant volumes of recruitment advertising space in both the national and trade press, as well as the internet. Subsequently, we can often negotiate very attractive rates.

Ad Hoc Consultancy

Our specialist knowledge of the financial services market, and in particular the investment management sector, means we can advise clients on a wide range of issues. These include competitor analysis, relocation, compensation and compliance, and we are able to keep clients informed of key moves within their sector, market sentiment, product development and other critical issues.


We are able to conduct specific research such as ascertaining the availability of certain individuals within a geographical area or identifying whether a certain skill-set can be attracted with a particular compensation package. Pre-search studies can be undertaken, which assess the potential candidate pool for a position, the likely availability of these candidates and their expected remuneration before the search goes ahead. This can save considerable time and expense by confirming the feasibility of finding a short-list for the role, within the parameters laid down by the client, before commissioning a full search.

Psychometric Assessment

This is increasingly well-regarded as a means of measuring a range of skills and personal qualities in potential recruits. We can arrange to conduct such tests and regularly do so on behalf of clients who favour this approach.
