The Organisation

My client seeks to be the leading international private bank for business owners and their families. It provides clients with wealth, business and family succession solutions in the largest and fastest growing markets around the world and puts its clients at the centre of everything it does. The bank is currently seeking an ambitious Relationship Manager who will work together with colleagues to help develop and grow the Charity & Education business.

The Role

The Relationship Manager will acquire, maintain and grow profitable long-term relationships principally with Charity & Education clients. The successful candidate will be an exceptional business originator and client focused individual. The role holder will be based in the London office, but there will be national travel to attend client and prospect meetings.

In this role, the successful candidate will:

• Originate new target market clients through investment AUM, lending and Advisory services from their own network.
• Identify and convert referral opportunities through the Group network.
• Grow revenues across allocated portfolio, successfully manage and serve existing business relationships and originate new revenue streams.
• Grow the bank’s share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with Charity & Education sector requirements, including sustainable and ethical investment.
• Establish and maintain networks for co-operation with other bank businesses, to support the creation of solutions to customer needs that span geographical/product boundaries and regulatory environments.
• Combine client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities ensuring the required credit quality & requisite returns on risk.
• Maintain bank internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
• Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in the role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum Level 6 qualification (PCIAM or equivalent).
• Demonstrable track record of client portfolio management and new client acquisition within the target segment.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex wealth management solutions as applicable to the target client segment including lending solutions.
• Track record of building successful relationships with both an internal and external referral network is preferred.

Remuneration

The bank is determined to appoint a high calibre candidate and is offering a negotiable basic salary and a remuneration package which will include a range of benefits and discretionary bonus.
